From making his debut in Non-league football during February 2016, the club that gave Lewis his break, North Greenford FC were unfortunately relegated.

Lewis signed for North Greenford FC during the close season for the following season and had the opportunity once the season had started to duel-sign with Barton Rovers FC.

Two days after signing with Barton Rovers, Lewis made his debut on 27th August 2016, against Uxbridge FC, keeping a clean sheet. Lewis only conceded two goals in his first six games.

Lewis was asked to play two games for Luton Town Under 18 team. He played against Leighton Orient & in the FA Youth Cup against Barnet FC at The Hive Stadium.

Lewis played a total of 14 league and cup games for Barton Rovers before receiving a nasty injury making him unable to play from November 2016 to February 2017.

Lewis came back during February making appearances for North Greenford United Reserves and then appearances for the First Team where he remained for the rest of the season.
